A fierce headwind wasn’t enough to stop the Kuujjuaq squad from getting out for another pre-expedition weekend camping trip.
By 9 am on Saturday everyone was at school and preparing for another adventure. It was the last opportunity to practice pulling the sleds and setting up camp before the April expedition. Setting up three tents requires quite a bit of time and energy, but everybody worked hard to make it happen. These weekend camping trips allow team members to bond, and to get into a routine of dividing up the tasks amongst themselves. From splitting wood to cooking and washing the dishes, everybody has to participate. The overall positive attitude made for another tremendous trip together on the land. What great team spirit!
